I made it!

Yesterday afternoon, I passed my USAF Fitness Assessment (details here).

I made two significant improvements since last time:
  1. I "maxed out" (got the maximum available points) on the push-ups.  I improved from 26 to 40.
  2. I improved my time on the 1.5 mile run from 16:27 to 13:36.  This is 6 seconds from 9:00/mile and blows away the target of 9:30/mile mentioned in my previous post on this topic.
Final score is 77.1 out of 100 with 75 needed to pass.  I can now take the time to properly work on longer term goals.

I've also lost 5 pounds and completed another orbit of the sun.
